Akshay Kumar’s character as a Psychiatrist, who was jolly in nature with a great sense of humor, made people laugh. Kartik Aaryan replaces him in this part, Rajpal Yadav and Kartik Aaryan’s pair to add more fun here.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 movie has a very talented star cast. Along with Kartik Aaryan, actresses Kiara Advani and Tabu will be seen playing the female lead roles.

Kiara earlier acted in Sidharth Malhotra starrer Shershaah, which was the biopic of Kargil war hero Captain Vikram Batra. She played the character of Dimple Cheema, girlfriend and fiancee of Captain Batra.

Talking about the very talented Tabu, she will be back in Hindi Cinema after her 2020 Jawaani Jaaneman, where she played opposite Saif Ali Khan.

Apart from the lead actors, Rajpal Yadav, Amar Upadhyay, Sanjay Mishra, Milind Gunaji, and Rajesh Sharma will also be seen in supporting roles.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is the second installment of the popular 2007 horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which starred Akshay Kumar as a psychiatrist. Shiney Ahuja featured as his friend and Vidya Balan played a character with split personality. She was critically acclaimed for her portrayal as Manjulika/ Avni. The film also featured Amisha Patel, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi, Rajpal Yadav and Vikram Gokhale in pivotal roles.

The original film had star Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Shiny Ahuja in the lead roles. Now Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani in lead roles.

On Thursday, Kiara Advani’s look from the film was unveiled. “Meet Reet. Don’t be fooled, she’s not so sweet. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 releasing in cinemas on 20th May, 2022,” the actress wrote.

Kartik Aaryan simply wrote this in the caption while sharing his look from the film and some familiar background score to go with it. “Rooh Baba is coming. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.”

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Movie Release Date

Earlier, the film was slated to be released, but as we know, India has been facing back-to-back waves of COVID 19.

As the director of the movie Anees Bazmee clarified it many times that he doesn’t want an OTT release of his film, so even in lockdowns, he never thought to release it through any streaming service.

But now this horror-comedy has got a theatrical release date and it is scheduled to be released on May 20th, 2022. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 releasing in cinemas on 20th May, 2022.” Kiara, sharing Tabu’s poster from the film, wrote this in her caption: “Don’t trust everyone. Even looks can be deceptive.” While Kartik Aaryan’s caption on the post read this: “Miliye Rooh Baba ki sabse Fav Bhabhi se.”

The teaser of the film was released a couple of days ago where Kartik Aaryan was introduced as Rooh baba with Rajpal Yadav reprising the role of Chhota Pandit. The teaser opens on a dingy and spooky note with Manjulika’s Aami Je Tomar playing and a glimpse of the unknown Manjulika cut to ‘Hare Krishna Hare Ram’ tune drops in with Kartik Aaryan’s mischievous eyes and a full black attire as Rajpal Yadav’s Chhota Pandit gives him quite the welcome.

Kiara Advani plays the female lead of the film alongside Kartik Aaryan, while Rajpal Yadav is perfectly in his element as Chhota Pandit from the first part and Tabu will be seen in a pivotal role too in this Anees Bazmee starrer. The film is all set to hit the big screens on the 20th of May, 2022.

On January 1, RRR makers had announced that the film’s release was getting postponed. Then, they gave two tentative dates and now finally, RRR will hit the cinemas on March 25, in multiple languages. The official announcement was made on Twitter today, January 31. The caption read, “#RRRonMarch25th, 2022… FINALISED! #RRRMovie (sic).”

RRR is set in the 1920s and follows the formative years of freedom fighters, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju, played by Jr NTR and Ram Charan, respectively. SS Rajamouli’s directorial venture, the film features an ensemble cast including Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody Shriya Saran and Samuthirakani.
